Children are our best hope in the future

"My plea is - if we want joy in our hearts, if we want the Spirit of the Lord in our lives, let us forget ourselves and reach out.  Let us put in the background our own personal, selfish interests and reach out in service to others."

On Monday, June 8th we met at Carolyn's home to work on gifts for the Festival of Trees Gift Boutique.
Carolyn and Rae Lee work on the background boards for the story.
Carolyn's sister, Jeanne has revised and retold an old Christmas legend of Santa teaching the children the true meaning of Christmas in a lovely story book that is illustrated by Amy Hintze.
The story boards
We worked on the story boards that will be sold with the books at the Boutique at the Festival of Trees in November.
