Then we can help ~ We CAN June 2019

There is a lot that happens around the world we cannot control.  We cannot stop earthquakes, we cannot prevent droughts, and we cannot prevent all conflict, but when we know where the hungry, the homeless and the sick exist, then we can help.”

Barbara has been working on a sleeping mat
On Monday, June 3rd, we met at Carolyn's home for our We CAN Service project.  We worked on making plarn for sleeping mats for the homeless.  A young woman, attending the University of Utah wanted to reach out to help others, so she founded Bags to Beds and now has many people collecting bags for plarn and crocheting them into sleeping mats.
